Trying to view the damage?
Windows users: Google Earth
To view the google Earth map, download Google Earth. After installing, Open this link for victim info, this link for katrina info, and this link for the latest imagery. This will load Sept 2005 sat imagery and you will see all live weather information for the area.
The new sat imagery is high res (big) and may take a while to load.
When you quit Google Earth, it will ask if you want to save temporary places. Don't. Reclick the above links when you need them to get them back so that you get the latest information.

Google Map Link
Good for Mac and Linux users, and people who can't install programs on Windows machines. It's a google map page that will refresh every 5 minutes when new data is added. You do NOT need to hit ref resh to see new data.
To see all of the entries by name, scroll your window down and you will see a list that you can click, and the map will center on the point.
It is best run in Firefox or Safari. IE doesn't play well, but works. You will see a tab called Katrina in red in the top right. click that for satellite data from Aug 31 showing damage to specific areas. Katrina link will not show when not in coverage ar ea. If you are new to Google Maps, try dragging the map to move it around.

Sept 10 UPDATE
High res imagery added here. Same link as above for the latest in satellite imagery of the south east coast.

Aug 31 UPDATE
If you're still pointing at the KML here, you'll auto update with Aug31 satimagery of New Orleans and Biloxi.
If you saved the old file, simply delete it and reclick on the link above.
You'll see 3 new layers. Adjust the transparency of each to see the before and After.
Before imagery is from Aug 2004.

Radio
If you want to listen to streaming radio stations from the area, a good list is here. As of 0500 East Coast, KRVE is the only station broadcasting.
